On Wednesday morning 11th May, the infant room had a surprise visit from The Cat In The Hat! The children had great fun and a lively story session thank to Olivia from Mountmellick Library.

Castlecuffe National School Admissions Information

Castlecuffe N.S. will begin accepting applications for junior infants for September 2022 on 13th January 2022 in line with other primary schools in our diocese.

About Us

Castlecuffe National School was built as a two teacher school in 1953. It was extended to 3 classrooms in 2004 and in September 2019, it was granted a fourth mainstream class teacher. 5th and 6th class moved into their newly built state - of -the-art classroom in September 2020. There are also two special education teachers, one full-time SNA and one part-time SNA. The school has a vibrant Parent Association who work with the Board of Management to build effective partnership of home and school.
